Brett Cook

Brett grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where he spent his free time hiking, backpacking, and caving while working as an electrical engineer. These experiences allowed him to explore the undeveloped wilderness, both above ground and below the surface.

He carried a compact camera on his journeys, documenting the quiet, often unseen beauty of the landscapes he encountered. By sharing these images, Brett seeks to share the appreciation and sense of wonder in those environments.

Now retired, his photography reflects the beauty that exists across diverse environments—from the lush, glacier-carved valleys of the Pacific Northwest to the stark, scrub-thorn terrain of the Southwest—each defined by its own character, textures, and sense of place.
