Brett Cook

Brett grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where he spent his free time hiking, backpacking, and caving while working as an electrical engineer. These experiences allowed him to explore the wilderness in its most unaltered state, both above ground and below the surface.

He carried a compact camera on his journeys, documenting the quiet, often unseen beauty of the landscapes he encountered. By sharing these images, Brett seeks to foster a deeper appreciation for the natural world and a sense of wonder in those who view his work.

His photography reflects a belief that beauty exists across diverse environments—from the lush, glacier-carved valleys of the Pacific Northwest to the stark, thorn-scrub terrain of the Southwest—each defined by its own character, textures, and sense of place.
