Becca Golub

Houston, TX

About Becca Golub:

“Art is fun and relaxing.”

Becca is as outgoing a person as you’ll ever meet and has never known a stranger. She also has a very clever sense of humor, especially when it comes to word-play. At two months old, Becca had meningitis, causing developmental delays and seizures. Becca’s mother was an artist and art critic, so going to art museums and learning about different art techniques have always been a part of Becca’s life. In her own words, “Art takes all my stress away and makes me happy.”

Becca is a talented artist with the Joan and Stanford Alexander Celebration Company, a program of Alexander JFS. Established in 1913, Alexander JFS is a premier social service agency and a partner of United Way and the Jewish Federation. In 2009 Celebration Company was founded to provide life, social, and advocacy skills along with meaningful vocational employment to individuals with disabilities who provide services and create products that impact change. The Center for Art and Photography at Celebration Company offers a robust art program including painting, photography, and glass fusion. By showcasing Becca’s art, companies not only enjoy her beautiful art, but enable her to have a platform for her voice, vision, and story to be shared.
