About Ann Travis:
Ann Travis grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Charlotte, NC in 1995. Her path to painting was not direct. After more than twenty years in corporate finance and a growing creative pull, she taught herself to paint. Discovering her passion marked a turning point and she began to build her practice.
Ann’s work has been recognized and accepted into numerous juried shows and publications. As part of ArtPop’s 2024 class, her art was featured around the Charlotte region, nationally and Times Square, NY several times. Ann is represented by Carolina Fine Art in Charlotte, NC and Eight Legs Gallery in Waxhaw, NC.
